Ovation! Performing Arts Northwest — formerly Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge — will hold auditions for the Lionel Bart musical “Oliver” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the group’s Bainbridge Island studio (600 Ericksen Ave., Suite 103).

The show will feature parts for a large cast of all ages (8-and-older at the time of audition) and experience levels.

The score features many beloved songs from musical theatre including “Consider Yourself,” “Where is Love,” “Cheerio but Be Back Soon,” “As Long as He Needs Me,” “Who Will Buy” and many more.

The production will be staged at the Bainbridge Island High School theatre Dec. 4 through Dec. 20 and will be directed by Ron Milton with musical direction by Caroline Pierce.

For the audition, interested parties are instructed to prepare a song from musical theatre and bring piano music in their key for the accompanist.

All parts are open.
