Grab your sweetheart and celebrate Valentine’s Day with a memorable evening during the two-week run of “Love Letters” at Bainbridge Performing Arts through Feb. 14.
Prize-winning playwright A.R. Gurney gives us a rich portrait of artist Melissa Gardner and politician Andrew Makepeace Ladd III as they take swings and misses through decades of love letters in this evocative, funny and bittersweet story of their lives.
Presented in an imaginative and innovative three-cast rotation, this compelling two-person production will entice audience members into seeing the show more than once.
“Love Letters” returns to the stage with Barbara Deering and John Ellis on Saturday, Feb. 13; and Victoria Brown and Jack Armstrong on Friday, Feb. 12 and Sunday, Feb. 14.
Tickets are $27 for adults, $22 for seniors, and $19 for students, youth, military and teachers, at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, 206-842-8569 or at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. North.
