“Northwest Nostalgia,” an exhibit in oils, acrylics and pastels by Susan Blais, is on display for its final weekend at Bainbridge Performing Arts Gallery.
Blais is a Northwest native, and her paintings are influenced by the overcast skies typical of the region. Her subject matter is often nostalgic, drawn from memories and experiences over the past six decades.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free.
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts hosts “1948,” a benefit gala to celebrate the gallery’s founding year, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Grace Episcopal Church.
“What Do You Know: Learning with Community Experts” returns to the Bainbridge Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The Library Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
