To the editor:

During the chaos and uncertainty of these times a life quietly slipped away.

Glen Robbins, beloved educator, colleague, friend and supporter of all things positive, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on March 14.

He spent his last days on earth in his front room overlooking his beloved Gamble Bay.

Glen, once presented with one of the worst diagnosis possible met it with courage, great humor and determination. He was “the entertainer” at the Cancer Care Alliance where nurses and staff loved him and shared much laughter.

Much more will be said about this caring individual later at his celebration of a life well-lived this summer — so many laughs to share.
