AMB stockholders were uninformed | Letters | Feb. 12

I became a “client” of AMB in 1967 just after I returned from Vietnam when I first purchased land on Bainbridge Island for a future home (finally managed to do so in 1981).

I became a stockholder in the bank in the late 1980s, although I had been a member of the Eddie Rollins coffee club years prior.

I am particularly disturbed over the lack of communications to stockholders from the bank as nothing was hinted about this in their quarterly newsletters to stockholders who, as I read in the Bainbridge Review, are totally out in the cold.

That hits many, I know, but particularly those of us retired seniors on fixed incomes who had been loyal friends of AMB over several decades, even after we moved off-island.

It is a sorry day for many of us.
