On behalf of Bainbridge Island School District’s art docent program, we would like to thank Pam Christiansen of Return to Creativity for sponsoring and Peggy Van Bianci for teaching training sessions.

This year we have 96 docents teaching art to children at Sakai, Ordway, Wilkes, Blakely and Odyssey, and this training opportunity will extend to each child at these schools. For some students, art is their best opportunity to shine, and for all it is a way to develop creativity and critical-thinking skills.

We are fortunate to live in a community that supports arts, and this gift of training will be treasured by the art docents in our schools.
