To the editor:

Great news: Full funding for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria was achieved.

Thanks to people asking for this, newspapers (like the Review) publishing letters about it, and a bipartisan group of Representatives and Senators: over the next three years, 16 million lives will be saved, over 200 million new infections will be prevented, and mankind will continue on a path to finally control these pandemics.
