To the editor:

I am supporting incumbent Sarah Blossom for another term on the Bainbridge Island City Council. She is hard-working, present and engaged; she comes to meetings prepared. She has become knowledgeable about the complex issues facing us — including growth, density, sustainability and livability.

I appreciate she is willing to admit when she doesn’t know something. I find her down-to-earth and willing to express a minority viewpoint. I appreciate her quiet, “Let’s get this done” approach to working as a member of the city council team. I believe she cares deeply about Bainbridge Island.

I want the next council to build on the working relationships developed and the knowledge gained about complex and diverse land use issues to make more progress getting the comprehensive plan visions incorporated into our city code. She has my vote.
