To the editor:

Again we have a threatening situation at our High School involving the threat of a bomb and gun.

Parents, now is the time to let the city council know this original location needs to be where the police station is built and to start building now. Times have progressed and we must change our perspectives to fit the foreseeable need of safety and security near our most valuable/vulnerable islanders.

I believe we need to build the police station at the corner of New Brooklyn and Sportsman Club Road, where it had been planned and paid for, uniquely situated between the majority of our children’s schools.
