To the editor:

I was extremely pleased to learn that Bob Scales was running for county prosecutor.

I watched Bob on the Bainbridge city council and was consistently impressed with his ethics and his intelligence. He often found himself in the position of doing what was right and in accordance with the law rather than what was political or expedient. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but those are the qualities we need from our prosecutor.

After listening to several debates and candidate presentations, my support for Bob has only increased. We badly need a change in the prosecutor’s office and we are fortunate that we have an individual of Bob’s experience and proven dedication to our community on the ballot.
