To the editor:

The board for the Bainbridge Island Water Polo Club would like to thank Jill Croxford for eight years of great service. Jill steps down as club president officially in February, but will show continued support through her excellent work fundraising for the club.

Jill has put forth a huge amount of energy, passion and effort over the last eight years, well beyond the period of time when her children were players on the club and varsity teams.

Her relationships with many community partners in the building and maintenance of the club remain extremely valuable to the board as we move into a new period of growth for the boys and girls club teams, the Bainbridge High varsity teams, the master’s program and the new 14-and-under program. Jill has also served as an excellent advocate and support system for our coaching personnel.

We are appreciative to have had her unfailing commitment and dedication over the years and hope to carry her positive, community-focused legacy forward as we work to build and expand an already great water polo program. Thank you for everything, Jill!
