To the editor:

On March 7, Housing Resources Bainbridge (formerly Housing Resources Board) was honored as this year’s Nonprofit of the Year by the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce.

We are proud of our accomplishments – but even prouder of the community we have served for 25 years. Every day wonderful things are happening on Bainbridge Island, with more than 100 active nonprofits providing a broad spectrum of services. Services that in ways great and small impact our community.

From all of the staff and board of Housing Resources Bainbridge, we extend our heart-felt gratitude for this award. Housing Resources Bainbridge is dedicated to preserving the diversity and vitality of Bainbridge Island by providing and maintaining affordable housing opportunities in the community.

The work we do benefits all of us and we could not do the work we do without you.
