To the editor:

On behalf of Bainbridge High School Spartronics Team 4915 – our 50 student team members, 15 professional mentors and Coach Enrique Chee – we would like to thank everyone in the Bainbridge Island community who packed Westside Pizza during our recent “takeover.”

This is the first time our young Robotics Team has done a fundraiser like this and it would not have been possible without the support of two very special sponsors: Westside Pizza, our legacy sponsor who has supported us since our first year and the Bainbridge Review for their awesome news coverage of this event. We are all deeply grateful.

Our community is helping us build more than robots: students are learning new life-long skills, from teamwork and communications to leadership and time management.

Once again seeing the support the Island has give our team reminds us how incredibly fortunate we are to call Bainbridge Island home.
