To the editor:

On July 24 I fainted on the sidewalk as I got off the 5:20 a.m. boat. One person gave up a T-shirt to put under my face and I would very much like to return it.

I am very grateful for the wonderful people who helped me, called 911 and stayed with me. It has renewed my faith in humanity.
