Every day, the volunteers of Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers (IVC) drive elderly and other temporarily disabled or sick persons to medical appointments on the island, the county and into Seattle. It’s part of the work we do to help keep islanders in their homes and their quality of life and independence preserved.

We were extremely gratified that our efforts were recognized this year by several local doctors and Harrison Medical Center.

They, along with the Suquamish Tribe, Kitsap Cancer Services and Hill Moving Services granted us support for our ninth annual dinner auction.

Harrison and the tribe were the co-premiere sponsors of the event. Harrison Medical Center has recently expanded into Poulsbo, as has our other sponsor, Peninsula Cancer Center. We at IVC have noted a real demand for their care from many of the folks we serve, and we are delighted to continue to build this partnership.

The financial support of these organizations, as well as that of our many other business donors and individual supporters, will immediately translate into direct services to so many vulnerable persons in our community. We thank you all so very much.
