Re: “Parking is a problem for all of us.”

I drive to Winslow most days. Often I park in the Town & Country lot, and pay for this in the cost of my groceries. Sometimes I park in the Island Fitness lot, and pay for this in my monthly fee. Sometimes I park for the ferry and pay $11.

You apparently want me to pay for your parking simply because you work in Winslow. Why? Can your enterprise not cover its costs?

Free parking is not a public good. It is a mistake.
