The recent Lyndon LaRouche rant in the letters section was lively enough. Yes, Adolf had a mustache. Why, I don’t know, but so did Stalin and Lenin.
I also don’t know if LaRouche is anti-Semitic.
The dictionary defines Semitic as those Middle Eastern tribes, including Arabs, etc., who speak various Semitic languages.
Criticism of Jewish policies against Palestinians, for example, is often labeled anti-Semitic; like the mustache tale, this is another quirky puzzle.
Adolf should have mowed off his mustache, which detracted from his appearance. Who knows, it might have been one of the causes of WWII.
But then, Uncle Joe (as FDR called him), would have been better off without his adornment, since he was ugly enough as is. And a war criminal, too.
The maligned German people did not vote for Adolf (his party received 36 percent of the vote) due to his mustache, but due to the dire economic circumstances stemming from the disaster of Versailles.
LaRouche had nothing to do with that, of course. But then, what do I know? The LaRouches are another puzzle to me.
