To the editor:

A chief argument against gun control is that criminals will still get guns. This is largely true.

However, our school and church shooters are not traditional criminals. They are loners, who likely lack the ability to navigate the black market, and purchase illegal assault weapons. We simply make it too easy for them to purchase, load up and shoot, stealing the right to live from our innocent youth.
