To the editor:
Wow! Thank you friends and neighbors for again making our annual history raffle a huge success.
History lives because of you and your caring about preserving our Island history.
The $5,000 cash prize was won by Tomi and Henry Egashira and the iPad was won by Rudy and Sarah Morosoff.
For others who purchased raffle tickets remember you are winners too as your raffle stub is a free pass to visit the museum. Thomas Jefferson said, “A morsel of genuine history is a thing so rare as to be always valuable.” The countless morsels in our museum are valuable beyond measure to our community. We are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We hope to see each of you in the museum.
If you are looking for a special, unique gift for someone, check out our gift shop while you are there.
Thank you all again for supporting our history museum.
