New development on island won’t be missed | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor: Although it’s difficult for me to imagine moving this October off the island, I can honestly say I will be happy to miss the regrettable changes about to take place across the street from McDonald’s when they build a 53,000 square foot monstrosity of corporate stores and unnecessary curio shops someone thinks Bainbridge so desperately needs.

Although it’s difficult for me to imagine moving this October off the island, I can honestly say I will be happy to miss the regrettable changes about to take place across the street from McDonald’s when they build a 53,000 square foot monstrosity of corporate stores and unnecessary curio shops someone thinks Bainbridge so desperately needs.

A Bartells? I’m sure the world of fast food will finally get their chance to plant a Burger King and a Taco Bell before anyone knows what’s happening.

I’m so happy I’ll miss it. I would cry.
