To the editor:

Rolling Bay Walk is not a public park.

We, the owners and inhabitants of Rolling Bay Walk, have become increasingly aware of the fact that the public perceives this as an off-leash park. We are continually confronted with dogs off-leash running through our yards, leaving deposits that are not cleaned up. We have had numerous parties and picnics in front of our houses.

I have been called names and been insulted for pointing out to people that the parking lot is not public, their dogs are trampling my plants, and they are not cleaning up after themselves or their pets. I would be happy to share the beach with people who abide by the road end parking and are respectful, quiet purveyors of the walk. Otherwise, please respect our privacy.
