To the editor:

We are long-time residents of Bainbridge and frequently travel by foot or bike on the Fort Ward and Grand Forest trails. We cannot help but notice the amazing job the parks district does in maintaining these parks while continuing to grow the size and diversity of all Bainbridge Island park offerings.

Much credit goes to the parks’ staff and director, but also to our current park board members.

We’d love to see this fine performance continue and urge you to re-elect Kirk Robinson as park commissioner. We know the huge commitment and dedication he puts into this job and hope you will vote for him on Nov. 7.
