To the editor:
When I expressed my opposition to the proposed 87-room hotel on Winslow Way, her response was to totally think through what this means to our island with respect to water usage, land growth and development, and traffic and, of course, she was against it.
This is what I love about her— she looks at each new development or city ordinance with the detailed eyes of someone who loves our island dearly and knows how things work. She has been working for us for many years. Kirsten is an experienced, former city councilwoman and has been an active participant in the major issues on our island for 17 years.
She has served on the Marge Williams Center and Helpline House boards. She worked to preserve the Bainbridge Options School and worked tirelessly on the Save Winslow Way Coalition. She is committed environmentalist on both the local and state level.
If you care about growth, development, traffic, our aquifers, our air and our schools you will vote for Kirsten.
