Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge will present “Evita,” the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical, this summer on Bainbridge Island.

The show will be directed by Ron Milton with musical direction by Elizabeth Faye, choreography by Debbie Pierce and lighting design by Evan Anderson.

Ovation! has announced auditions for its production of “Evita,” which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. A dance audition will also be held 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 22. All parts are open for the musical.

For the audition, actors should prepare a song from musical theatre and bring piano music in their key for the accompanist. (Please no rock, pop, folk, acapella or karaoke numbers.)

The production will also have a children’s chorus; children must be at least 8 to audition.

Rehearsals for “Evita” are scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 13, with performances running from July 11 through July 27.
