Dancers, actors, gymnasts and acrobats interested in contributing to a new version of the holiday stage classic, “The Nutcracker,” should plan to attend auditions for the upcoming 12th annual Olympic Performance Group production Sunday, June 4 at Bainbridge Ballet Studios (9720 Coppertop Loop, Suite 201).

Auditions for dancers (ballet/pointe, hip hop, jazz, tap, contemporary and/or ballroom styles) will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for those aged 7-10; from noon to 2 p.m. for those aged 11-13 (not on pointe); and from 2 to 4 p.m. for those aged 14 and older (or younger if on pointe, pointe not required for those 14 and older).

Gymnasts, acrobats, jugglers and other performers (aged 7 and older) will be seen from 4 to 4:45 p.m.

Actors (aged 14 and older) will audition from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.

Performance dates are Dec. 16-18, and rehearsals begin the first week of September.
