Bainbridge Performing Arts presents “An Afternoon with Bonnie Wallace” on Sunday, Oct. 4 at a nonprofit retreat center on Bainbridge Island.

Wallace will read from her new book, “The Hollywood Parents Guide: Your Roadmap To Pursuing Your Child’s Dream,” the first comprehensive guide written to help parents steer the career of their young actor.

Funny, heartfelt, and informative, the book includes interviews with parents of other young Hollywood stars, and industry insiders. The author is the mother of Disney Star Dove Cameron, who got her start at Bainbridge Performing Arts at the age of 8.

The $10 ticket price includes wine and refreshments, and books will be available at the event.
