Join Eagle Harbor Books for a moving presentation of photographs and personal observations of a year journey in the Netherlands at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.

Bainbridge Island photographer David W. Cohen will talk about his ebook “Opening Up and Letting Go.” Cohen’s unique photographic journey was originally posted as a blog, and spans 13 months in the medieval Dutch town of Zutphen.

Cohen moved to the community with his wife and son to help care for his aging mother-in-law. His project was conceived when he decided to shoot daily images to accompany his memorable and cathartic journey.
