The artwork of Bainbridge Island artist John Adams will be on display at the 15th annual Northwest Expressions exhibit in Port Townsend this month.

Adams’ abstract watercolor “Arrival” has been honored with a special award in the exhibit. The painting was one of 76 chosen by juror David Lynx from 322 entries throughout the Northwest and British Columbia.

Northwest Expressions runs through Aug. 25.
