Directed by Diane Bankart and Rozzella Kolbegger, the offerings in “What Women Have To Say” range from a very different kind of crazy cat lady to a human resources staffer with some wild stories as well as a park ranger giving an unusual tour of Mount Rushmore, an actress who finds a sneaky way to score at an audition and even some holiday funnies thrown in for good measure.

The cast includes Diane Walker, Ruth Urbach, Diane Bankart, Paula Elliot, Carolyn Goad, Mikaela Karter, Christiana Bannister and Tressa Johnson.

Both shows are free, with donations welcome.

The library is located at 1270 Madison Ave. North.

Founded on Bainbridge Island in 1995, Island Theatre’s mission is to provide quality theatre, geared toward mature audiences, onstage and in less conventional venues, through plays that challenge the performers artistically while both entertaining and intellectually engaging audiences

The group’s regular schedule includes bi-monthly staged play readings at the Bainbridge Public Library; potluck dinners in privately hosted homes at which guests are welcome to join in a selected play reading; and the annual Island Theatre Ten-Minute Play Festival.
