Kids Discovery Museum hosts a holiday safety program with the Bainbridge Island Police Department at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19.

Families can meet a Bainbridge police officer and learn how to have peace of mind and safely navigate this holiday season. The presentation is a part of a monthly program that — together with new additions to the Our Town exhibit hall — were designed to make young visitors familiar with important safety and emergency preparedness issues.

Each month the museum partners with local specialists to present a new subject from natural disasters to wildlife safety, and more.

The program is free with admission or membership.
