In honor of the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming performance, “Superheroes and Villains,” Bainbridge Performing Arts is seeking the community’s help to identify the “perhaps not-so-caped crusaders” who are heroes right here on the island.
Members of the public are invited to nominate individuals who they feel have made an impact in their neighborhood, and two winners will be awarded with a special prize at the BSO’s concerts on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.
Participants are requested to send the following to BPA executive director Dominique Cantwell at dcantwell@bainbridgeperformingarts.org no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 6: the name of nominee; the reason for nomination (portions of this may be shared with the nominee and the audience); one (or preferably two) ways to contact the nominee if they are a winner; your name and contact information; and whether or not you would like to remain anonymous if your nominee is selected. The subject line should read: “Hometown Hero Nomination.”
