In a beautiful mid-morning ceremony, next to the Pacific Ocean, Robin Weldy and Thao Dang were married in front of a small (but mighty) group of family and friends on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at Shell Beach, Bodega, California.

The groom is an asset management engineer at TerraVerde Renewable Partners. He graduated from Bainbridge High as a member of the Class of 2004 and earned his bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University in 2004 and master’s degree at Kings College, London in 2008. He is the son of Teri Weldy and Chuck Weldy of Bainbridge Island.

The bride works as assistant executive director of the Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, Austin. She is the daughter of Tran Ma and Duc Dang of Houston, Texas.

The couple reside in Oakland, California.
