Stand-Up Night Live is coming back to Bainbridge Performing Arts, complete with headliner Duane Goad, host Dan Rosenberg, live music with Westerly Sound, and special guests Nigel Larson and Claire Webber.
The show is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.
Goad is a Canadian-born, Seattle-based comedian who has entertained audiences all over the U.S. and Canada with his quick, sarcastic and self-deprecating style of comedy.
He has performed at some of North America’s top comedy clubs including Yuk Yuks, The Improv, and Comedyworks, and he’s been featured at numerous comedy festivals including Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy Festival, the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, the Bumbershoot Arts Festival and the Vancouver Comedy Festival.
He was a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and, as an opening act, he has shared the stage with some of the best comics in the business, such as Jim Gaffigan, Flight Of The Conchords, Bill Burr, Brad Garrett, Maria Bamford, The Impractical Jokers, Damon Wayans, and music superstars The Jacksons.
Rosenberg has been performing standup in clubs, theaters, and festivals for over two decades, appearing at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, as well as festivals in Las Vegas, New Orleans and Boston.
He has hosted radio and TV shows in Orlando, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Seattle, and he has shared the stage with many comedy legends, such as Kevin Nealon, Chris Rock, Richard Belzer and Rodney Dangerfield.
He is the author of “The Book On Hosting, How Not To Suck As An Emcee” and he was the host of last season’s inaugural Stand-Up Night LIVE! at BPA.
