First Sundays at the Commons presents violist Hilary Herndon and pianist Regina Yeh in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7.
Herndon, who is on the faculty of the University of Tennessee, has a master’s degree from Julliard, and has performed as principal violist in major orchestras. She has collaborated with many notable musicians throughout the U.S. and Europe. She will perform solo works by Soulage and Fuchs as well as the Sonata in F minor for viola (clarinet) and piano. Yeh, a an accomplished pianist who is presently on the faculty of PLU will perform piano works by Sun Yi Ling and Chopin. The concert takes place at the Bainbridge Commons, 402 Brien Drive, by Waterfront Park.
