Earth Day fun at KiDiMu

Families are invited for a festive celebration of nature on Saturday, April 22 at Kids Discovery Museum.

In the morning, children can learn about the important backyard wildlife and get up-close with West Sound Wildlife Shelter’s ambassadors — a barred owl and opossum.

Kids can also join docents for hands-on science projects featuring seed sprouting, and NASA-inspired rising sea topography activity and cloud investigations. Be sure to email the Museum’s Tree House and stop by the art room to create litterbug art. Be sure to grab a scavenger hunt activity sheet to get inspired for another nature adventure.
