The exhibition of paintings by George W. Dennis at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts comes to a close at the Winslow gallery on March 2.
Dennis, who passed away in 1982, was a longtime Bainbridge Islander and a great advocate of the arts on Bainbridge Island. His wife, Pauline “Pauli” Dennis, was a founding member of Bainbridge Arts & Crafts and the namesake for BAC’s middle gallery.
BAC prepared this month’s exhibit to honor the couple and their deep ties to the island and to BAC, and the Dennis family generously offered to share George’s paintings with the public through this special exhibition.
BAC will also use the proceeds from sales of George’s work to establish a Pauli and George Dennis scholarship fund in their honor.
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts is at 151 Winslow Way E.
