David Goon was named to the dean’s list at Miami University for the 2016 fall semester.

Goon, from Bainbridge Island, is working toward a bachelor of arts and is majoring in political science.

Miami University students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for first semester 2016-2017 have been named to the dean’s list recognizing academic performance.

Considered one of eight original “Public Ivies” in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. The university is consistently ranked by U.S. News and World Report for its commitment to undergraduate teaching.
