The Island School presents “Paved With Gold: Dreams of a Better Life” at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 25 in the school’s Webster Hall.

The show is a series of immigration stories, songs and dramatic pieces based on family experiences of The Island School’s fifth-grade class. Students reenact journeys from Poland, Italy, Greece, India and many places in between.

Now in its ninth year, “Paved with Gold” tells the unique story of this group of talented performers. Everyone is welcome to the free performance.
