Three lucky winners picked up an early Christmas present earlier this week when the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum had their “Save Our History” raffle drawing.

The drawing was held at the museum Nov. 28. The $5,000 first prize went to Islander Gail Walker. After receiving the congratulatory phone call, Walker drove to the museum where she was greeted with her check and many smiling faces.

The second prize, a Quadcopter Drone, was won by Wendy O’Connor and the third prize, an Apple Watch Sport, was claimed by John Rosling.

The raffle supports the ongoing mission of the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum to preserve and tell our island’s story.
