Dinah Satterwhite will lead an artist’s workshop titled “Learn to Write an Artist’s Statement” on Sunday, June 23 at BARN (Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network).

The workshop is 1 to 4 p.m.; visual artists wanting to write or improve their artist’s statement are invited.

An artist statement is an essential part of being an artist, and can be used in galleries, social media, the press, and much more. This workshop is a fun creative writing class, with great tips, sentence starters, a list of keywords, and handouts.
