Perennially popular island musicians Ranger and the Re-Arrangers will perform with special guest Michal Gray at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 18 in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art auditorium.
Michael Gray has been the violinist for the Seattle Gypsy jazz group Pearl Django for 22 years and 13 albums. He’s toured throughout North America and Europe and played with everyone from bluegrass greats Scott Law and Darol Anger, to Seattle folk icon Jim Page, to jazz luminaries such as Frank Vignola, Larry Coryell and Martin Taylor.
The concert will feature music from Ranger and the Re-Arrangers’ repertoire of swing standards and traditional Gypsy melodies.
