Fancy yourself a discerning critic? On Sunday, Sept. 25, catch the top 10 finalists from the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art will screen the featured submissions at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and cinema-goers will have the opportunity to vote for the best film and actor.
Votes will be sent through to Manhattan Short headquarter, with the winner announced at www.manhattanshort.com at 10 a.m. EST on Monday, Oct. 3.

This year, Manhattan Short received a record-breaking 844 entries, with an emphasis on the importance of women in film.
Last year, one of the featured shorts, “Bear Story,” went on to win the 2016 Academy Award for Short Film.
