Calendars to benefit Bainbridge’s sister island of Ometepe will go on sale over the next three weekends.

Ometepe calendars are an Island tradition, and the new calendars feature arthropods of Bainbridge and Ometepe. Benefitting the Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Islands Association, second- and fifth-grade student artists from The Island School will sell calendars at T&C, Blackbird Bakery, The Good Egg, Ace Hardware and Safeway over Thanksgiving weekend and the first two weekends in December (Dec. 1-3 and Dec. 8-10).

Calendars are also available every day at Eagle Harbor Books, Bay Hay & Feed and The Island School.
