Set in China’s Imperial City, Puccini’s spectacular masterpiece recounts the legend of a bloodthirsty princess whose icy, vengeful heart softens as she comes to know true love. The preview will be presented by opera aficionado Norm Hollingshead and is funded by the Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library.
