Load up the kids and spend an unforgettable child-centered day at Bloedel Reserve during the annual Out(side)rageous Family Day event from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21.

Kids get in for free all day and adult admission will be reduced to $10. No advance ticket is necessary.

The event will feature live music by Caspar Babypants and Recess Monkey, and activities spread across the grounds and led by visitors from IslandWood, Kids Discovery Museum, the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Valentinetti Puppet Museum, the Wild Society and West Sound Wildlife Shelter.

To help your family make a day of it, Bloedel is loosening the usual no-picnicking restrictions, and food will be allowed in designated areas.
