Sixth generation fan makers Kanji and Naomi Ishizumi will teach their craft at a special workshop on the art of Japanese fans at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Call or stop by the library to register; a materials fee of $20 will be collected at the beginning of the program. All participants will make a personalized fan out of paper and wood.
