Margo Walters, a student at Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School, will be appearing in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 2016 production of George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker.”

Margo, a dancer who attends Pacific Northwest Ballet School, has been cast as a Polichinelle.

Following auditions in September, nearly 150 Pacific Northwest Ballet students were cast in the production in roles including angels and toy soldiers.

Pacific Northwest Ballet’s production of Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker” runs for 38 performances, from Friday, Nov. 25 through Dec. 28 at Seattle Center’s McCaw Hall.
