Seattle7Writers will return to Eagle Harbor Book Company for the second annual “Fill Your Summer Book Bag” event from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4.

Last year, the event raised money for the Kitsap Regional Library. This year, the benefactor will be the Bainbridge Boys & Girls Club, which will use the proceeds to help build a lending library for their members.

Thirteen writers from Seattle7 will gather to sign copies of their books and offer recommendations throughout the store.

Many are national bestsellers and New York Times-bestselling authors, and they cover a wide range of genres — from contemporary fiction, mystery, children’s books, thrillers and more. The authors include Kelli Russell Agodon, Kathleen Alcala, Erica Bauermeister, Carol Cassella, Robert Dugoni, Waverly Fitzgerald, Bridget Foley, Kevin O’Brien, Robin Oliveria, Bernadetter Pajer, Suzanne Selfors, Garth Stein and Susan Wiggs.

Authors will bring homemade treats to share.
