Wednesday evening concerts at Battle Point Park kick off at 7 p.m. July 5 with music by Planet Groove.

Planet Groove has been a top band in Kitsap for 10 years, and promises to bring high energy, good times, funk, blues, rock, hard jamming and fun.

The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District’s summer concert series is free.

The all-ages events also feature kids activities and light concessions.
