As a member of the Ways and Means Committee in Olympia, Rockefeller works on budget allocations for low-income medical assistance. “They are doing a great job here and I learned a lot from this visit,” Rockefeller said. “Having been a patient before I had a good idea of what sorts of challenges these workers face, spending three hours and helping them gave me a new perspective on their important work.”
